तेरे जाने का हुआ मुझ पर ऐसा असर,

शायद कुछ दूरहैं हम,शायद कुछ दूर हो तुम, यह दूरियां कुछ बातों की हैं,या चंद मुलाकातों की हैं, तलाशा तलशता रहा तुम्हे हर जगह, हर पल, पर जानता हूँ अब तुम मुझसे दूर कहीं हो, मेरी हर खामोशी का सबब, मेरी दुनिया में एक खालीपन की वजह, मेरी मुस्कराहट में छिपा दर्द हो तुम, तुम्हे भूलने की तो मैंने कोशिश भी नहीं की, क्यूंकि तुम तो मेरी आंखों में हो, मेरे अश्क तुम्हारी यादों को नम करते रहते हैं, मेरी जिन्दगी के पन्नो को भिगा कर चले जाते हैं, तेरे जाने का   असर  हुआ  यूँ  मुझ   पर , की तेरी तलाश में मैंने ख़ुद को पा लिया , तेरे न होने के अहसास को, मैंने सदा के लिए भुला दिया, वो हँसी की खनक, अब भी सुनाई देती है, वो आंखों की चमक अब भी दिखाई देती है, हर बात, हर मुलाक़ात अब भी याद है, पर अब बस ये एक याद है, इन यादों को भी ख़्वाबों का सहारा चाहिए, अब तो ख्वाब भी आंखों से रुठे हुए से लगते हैं, पलकों से अश्क भी टूटे हुए से लगते हैं, आज मुझे अहसास हुआ, तेरा जाना ख्वाब नहीं हकीक़त था..... It is said that writers love their solitude and that’s the only reason why they write. Avid readers seldom realized their solitude, and when they do, a new writer is born. Today we have our fourth contributor in series “ Are We Connected: Diary Page s”. Harishta Shrivastava, another Engineer turned to a ‘Creator’, hailing from Kanpur, India. She is pursuing Mechanical Engineering, but has an inclination towards the creative world. Hence she is now chasing her dream of writing and ready to be a ‘Published Author’ soon. Before deciding to be a writer, she had been a known book reviewer; she still is, but responsibilities towards her own book made her less active. After reading and reviewing a lot of books, she realized her solitude, and her first fiction novel, ‘ One in a Million ’ is ready to release on 19 th January,2013. Are We Connected: Diary pages #3: Preeti Singh

There are writers who desperately want to be on top of literary world, and become an omnipresent author, but then there are writers who silently work towards a goal. A goal, which deals with making an impact, bringing a change, and living in hearts of the readers.   Such writers are often one who says what we want to say, but fall short on words. Today, we have our third contributor in series ‘ Are WeConnected: Diary Pages ’, Ms. Preeti Singh, authoress of national bestseller “Flirting With Fate”. She made her debut as author with an unusual genre for first timers (which she isn't really), Crime Fiction. And been able to win many hearts undoubtedly.  She is an active user of facebook, and her updates are like a cool breeze in this harsh world.  It’s really amazing how she manages to inspire people without even putting an effort!  Apart from a national bestseller, she has written many poems, articles on various subjects, which you can read on her personal website .
